Simplified Business

Terms of service

Last updated 29 October 2026

These terms set out how you can use Simplified Business, what you pay, and what each of us is responsible for. We’ve kept them as short and plain as we can.

1.Who we are

Simplified Business is an online accounting service run by [Company legal name], [Registered office address] (“we”, “us”). These terms are an agreement between us and the business that signs up (“you”).

By creating an account or using Simplified Business, you agree to these terms. If you sign up on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are allowed to accept them for it.

2.What the service does

Simplified Business helps you keep your books: quotations and invoices, purchases and bills, stock, bank and cash, and reports. It records what you enter and works out figures such as sales tax, balances and stock values from it.

It is a tool, not an accountant. We don’t give accounting, tax or legal advice and we don’t file returns for you. You are responsible for checking your figures and for anything you file with the Federal Board of Revenue or any other authority.

3.Your account

  • You must be at least 18 and use Simplified Business for a business.
  • Give accurate details when you sign up and keep them up to date.
  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for what is done under your account.
  • The owner of a business account decides who else can use it and with which role, and is responsible for how those people use it.
  • Tell us straight away at [support@yourdomain.com] if you think someone has used your account without permission.

4.Free trial

New businesses get a 14-day free trial with every feature. We don’t ask for card details to start. When the trial ends, you need a paid plan to keep adding records.

5.Plans, prices and payment

  • Prices are shown on our pricing page in Pakistani rupees, per month or per year. If tax applies, we show it before you pay.
  • You pay in advance for each month or year. We never charge you automatically: every payment is one you make yourself.
  • You can pay by bank transfer, JazzCash or Easypaisa, or by debit or credit card where our payment partner offers it. Card payments are processed by that partner, a bank or licensed payment service provider; we never see or store your full card number.
  • Your plan is extended once your payment is confirmed. For bank transfers and mobile wallets this is usually within one working day.
  • We may change our prices. We’ll tell you at least 30 days before, and new prices apply from your next payment, never to a period you have already paid for.

6.If a plan isn’t renewed

A paid plan keeps working for 7 days after its end date. After that, and straight away when a free trial ends, your books become read-only: you and your team can still sign in, view, print and download everything, but can’t add or change records until a payment is confirmed. We don’t delete your data because a payment is late.

7.Cancelling and refunds

You can stop using Simplified Business at any time by not renewing; there is no cancellation fee. Our refund policy explains when we give money back.

8.Your data

The records you put into Simplified Business belong to you. You allow us to store and process them only to run the service for you, keep it secure, and meet our legal obligations. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.

You are responsible for having the right to enter the information you add, including details of your customers, suppliers and staff. You can print or download your reports at any time.

9.The AI assistant

Every plan includes an assistant that answers questions about your books. It reads your records to answer and can’t change them. Its answers are produced automatically and can be wrong or incomplete, so check important figures in the report or document it links to before relying on them. To answer, your question and the figures it needs are sent to our AI provider, as the privacy policy describes.

10.Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Simplified Business for anything unlawful, including fraud, money laundering or evading tax;
  • try to get into another business’s records or our systems without permission;
  • disrupt or overload the service, or probe it for weaknesses without our written permission;
  • upload viruses or other harmful code;
  • copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service.

11.Availability and changes

We work to keep Simplified Business running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. We sometimes need to pause it for maintenance, usually outside business hours. We improve the service over time and may change or remove features; if a change significantly reduces what you have paid for, we’ll tell you in advance.

12.Suspending or closing accounts

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other users or the service at risk, or where the law requires it. Where we can, we’ll warn you first and give you time to put things right and to download your records.

13.Our liability

We provide Simplified Business “as is”. As far as the law allows:

  • we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit, lost business, or penalties arising from your filings;
  • our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

14.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll tell you by email or in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using Simplified Business after that, the updated terms apply.

15.Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Please contact us first so we can try to settle any disagreement. If we can’t, the courts at [City] will have jurisdiction.
